CUSCO
Cusco is not just beautiful, it’s mystical. You walk its cobbled streets and literally step on 600-year-old Inca foundations. The Spanish built their churches and mansions on top of Inca temples, so you see Inca stone walls below, and colonial balconies above.
MACHU PICCHU
Machu Picchu is hard to describe — photos don’t do it justice. You arrive after hours of travel, climb a winding path, pass the checkpoint, walk a bit more, and suddenly... there it is. The citadel perfect in the middle of the mountains, with Huayna Picchu behind it as guardian.
AREQUIPA
Arequipa is elegant. They call it the White City because it’s built with sillar, a white volcanic stone that gives it a unique look. There are three volcanoes around (Misti, Chachani, Pichu Pichu) that are visible from almost anywhere when the sky is clear.
PUNO
Puno lies on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. The city itself is nothing spectacular, but it’s the gateway to explore the lake and its islands.
AYACUCHO
Ayacucho is one of Peru’s best-kept secrets. Known as the city of 33 churches (one for each year of Christ’s life), it blends stunning colonial architecture, vibrant traditions, and the finest handicrafts in the country. It’s less visited than Cusco but equally fascinating if you love history, culture, and art.
APURIMAC
Apurímac is for true adventurers — remote, rugged, and blissfully free of crowds. It’s one of Peru’s most authentic regions, where the Apurímac Canyon plunges deeper than the Grand Canyon and nature reigns untouched.
HUARAZ
Welcome to Peru’s mountain capital — a paradise for trekkers, climbers, and nature lovers. Nestled between the Cordillera Blanca (the highest tropical mountain range in the world) and the Cordillera Negra, Huaraz is surrounded by glaciers, turquoise lakes, and snow-capped peaks.
